Relational Immersion at the Farm

A 2–4 hour experiential session designed to slow things down and understand what is actually happening—without pressure or expectation.

What this is

This is a relational, in-the-moment experience at the barn.

There is no set agenda.

We allow time to:

  • arrive and transition
  • settle into the environment
  • follow interaction as it naturally unfolds

Nothing is rushed.
Nothing is forced.

When this can be helpful

This work is often a good fit when:

  • things feel stuck or unclear
  • your child is overwhelmed, shutting down, or resisting support
  • previous approaches are not working the way you hoped
  • support has started to feel like pressure

You don’t need to have a clear explanation.

You can bring what you are seeing.

What happens during an immersion

Each immersion is 2–4 hours, depending on what is needed that day.

Some days are shorter.
Some days need more time.

We follow:

  • pacing
  • engagement
  • regulation as it becomes available

Engagement may look like:

  • watching
  • moving away
  • connecting briefly
  • or not engaging at all

All of it is part of the process.

The role of the animals

The animals are part of the environment.

They respond to:

  • tension
  • pacing
  • pressure
  • shifts in regulation

This gives us real-time information without needing to force or interpret behavior.

 Scheduling

After purchase, we will schedule your immersion together.

Scheduling is flexible.

Some families prefer:

  • a consistent day and time

Others schedule:

  • based on energy, availability, and what is happening week to week

We decide what feels most supportive.
